Military Working Dog Team Support Association, Inc. (MWDTSA)

The Military Working Dog Team Support Association, Inc. (MWDTSA) supports military working dog teams, and that includes dogs and their handlers. MWDTSA sends care packages to teams, promotes veteran handler efforts, advocates on behalf of military dogs and fundraises for war dog memorials. They also educate the public through a free enewsletter called Kennel Talk. The newsletter shares information on how these amazing dogs are trained and why they're important to our nation's armed forces. The majority of those served by MWDTSA are active duty handlers but the program also supports veterinarians who are deployed overseas to provide healthcare for these 4-legged heroes. MWDTSA provides medical supplies, devices and surgical equipment.

MWDTSA was the recipient of a 4imprint® one by one® grant and used it to purchase promotional products, more specifically, insulated coffee mugs that were included in a recent set of care packages. The packages were themed "Care and Comfort" and included additional items for the teams such as coffee, chocolate bars, dog treats, dog toys, nail trimmers, combs, brushes and other grooming supplies. "The mugs were so impressive that one of the wives joked that she was ready to send her husband back overseas so they could get one," stated MWDTSA president Dixie Whitman. "We heard of the grant through the 4imprint® website and we were ecstatic to find out we were chosen as a recipient. We were very impressed by the quality of the product and service we received from the 4imprint® team," said Whitman.
